High in Ethiopia’s Omafuntulay highlands, Mohammed Aba Nura cultivates the Metu-Bishari 74110 variety on his family’s third-generation farm. Hand-picked cherries are carefully sun-dried on raised beds, reflecting decades of tradition and the rich heritage. Expect notes of Caramel,
Apricot, Red Berries.
Mohammed Aba Nura’s coffees have been nothing short of impressive over the past four harvest seasons. Our import partners at Osito have had the opportunity to taste lots from Mohammed for quite some time. The increased demand over recent years for this regions coffees has given them the opportunity to work closely with Mohammed in delivering his exceptional coffees around the world. Mohammed’s 35.7 hectare farm is located in the Omafuntulay Kebele of Jimma. His coffees come from a staggering 2,000-2,100 masl and are dried on raised beds for roughly 20 days. We are is proud to have the opportunity to showcase the quality of Mohammed’s naturally processed lots.
