The Producer

Ms. Zhao Mei grew up among the red cherries and tea leaves of Xingang, a farm her parents built from the ground up with the help of their entire village. What began as her father’s vision has become her life’s work—planting and nurturing coffee across the Wazhang mountains with quiet dedication. As a proud member of the Wa ethnic group, Zhao Mei brings care, resilience, and a deep sense of place to everything she grows, producing some of the region’s most expressive and sweet coffees.

The Coffee

This lot from Xingang is made entirely from fully red ripe cherries, handpicked and carefully fermented for 48 hours before being slow-dried on raised beds for 25 days. The result is a cup that stays true to its origin while carrying a gentle touch of fermentation—elevating sweetness and bringing clarity to its distinct notes.
