The Producers

The Ceiba lot brings together smallholders from mountain communities, many of whom are still rebuilding after the devastating leaf rust epidemic. Supported by Unitrade Coffee, these producers work with deep knowledge of their land, cultivating a range of resilient varieties beneath native shade. Their cherries are selected for cup character—floral, bright, and fruit-forward—and processed with care. Each harvest reflects not just Huehue’s vibrant terroir, but the quiet strength of the families who grow it.

The Coffee

This coffee is a beautiful reflection of Huehuetenango’s diversity—both in people and in plant life. A regional blend of smallholder lots, it brings together varieties like Caturra, Bourbon, Typica, Catuai, Catimor, Sarchimor, Pache, and Pacamara.
