Mike Mamo is shaping the future of Ethiopian coffee while honouring his family’s deep roots in the industry. Son of Mamo Telila, founder of Addis Exporter, Mike has expanded the business with a sharp focus on quality, sustainability, and innovation.
In 2019, he took over the Telila Washing Station in Jimma, quickly turning it into a standout producer of clean, meticulously processed coffees. His commitment to detail—lot separation, hermetic storage, and direct farmer relationships—sets him apart in Ethiopia’s coffee scene.
Beyond coffee, Mike invests in the people behind it. Addis Exporter funds schools, roads, and clean water projects, ensuring that coffee’s impact extends beyond the cup.
